Our Guest House is situated some 5 miles north of Rothbury in a quiet rural valley, just 1/2 a mile from the village of Netherton, famous for The Star Inn. The pub does not observe normal pub hours.
This is the heart of Northumberland and an ideal location to visit Alnwick, the abundant Northumberland Coastline and Castles along with the Stately Homes and Hadrian's Wall country.
Northumberland is a special County made up of small towns and smaller villages, dotted between vast expanses of open countryside, forests, woods and rivers.
Here wildlife thrives, the views are spectacular and visitors are spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do and see, which are reached on quiet roads.
When you visit us, you are sure of a warm and friendly welcome, clean, comfortable rooms, where we want you to feel relaxed and at home.
Accommodation is offered Bed, Breakfast or Great Value Dinner Bed and Breakfast. Meals are offered from a good and varied menu of home cooked, fresh food.
Afternoon tea is also included in the room price. Available between 4.30-5.30pm
